Marcia Wallace best known as Edna Krabappel, not Crandall, on “The Simpsons” has passed away. This is sad news not just for her friends and family but fans of television in general. She was great on “The Bob Newhart Show” and many more sitcoms after that. She is featured prominently on my favorite episode of “The Simpsons”, “Bart the Lover”.

She was also in one of my favorite episodes of “Taxi”, playing herself on a date with Reverend Jim, pictures below.

She will be missed.
